Job Description
This position will be responsible for both managing daily operations in the Dean's office as well as ongoing management of the continuing education program of the college. Provide high-level administrative support to the Dean. Manage and plan the Dean's calendar, travel, and correspondence in consultation with the Dean. Document meeting minutes, prepare reports, and assist with special projects/events as appropriate. Answer departmental phone and respond to office inquiries. Provide support of the continuing education program of the College of Optometry (COO). Work closely with the faculty Director of Continuing Education to plan, market, implement, and evaluate synchronous (live and virtual) and asynchronous continuing education events. Ensure that continuing education courses meet accreditation standards.

40 hours/week; must be able to work some evenings/weekends for Continuing Education events
Salary
Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $17.43 to $22.50 Hourly

University Title: Executive Assistant
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends for Continuing Education events
