Job Summary
Manage and coordinate on and off-campus Credits Count Grant activities, services, and resources between Tulsa Community College and select Tulsa Public School institutions; act as a liaison between Tulsa Community College, Tulsa Public Schools, and community resources. These may include 1) community inclusion, recruitment, and retention activities, 2) academic tutoring and counseling services 3) fiscal, personnel, and community resources.
Essential Duties
Provide Credits Count Grant services for a pool of Tulsa Public School students. These services include individual and group tutorial services, study group facilitation, teaching/modeling collegiate study skills, student-facing professional development presentations, instructional-skill workshops, and monitor whole-class and individual technology usage.
Coordinate and design Credits Count Grant-sponsored activities between TCC and local partners for a designated Tulsa Public School campus (including its feeder-pattern). These activities can include TCC-wide sponsored events, DEI Department events, Credits Count Grant designed events and community-engagement opportunities.
Identify resources for designated Tulsa Public School site to further student/school success in Credits Count Grant programming. This includes maintaining relationships with all organizations that work with the school site, introducing school/students to approved entities that further the goals of the Grant or the school site, and connecting students to TCC-available resources for students and families.
Research, develop, and design best-practices based tutorial services, curricula, strategies,methods and programs with or without the use of technology to augment, supplement, and assist academic departments and workforce programs and their students. Anticipate and proactively plans for changes in programs and services; write and develop plans to meet goals and objectives of the department.
Plan, promote, and advertise Credits Count Grant and TCC services and activities to students, faculty, staff, and families. Serves as liaison to instructional departments and divisions supported by the Grant.
Gather, analyze, and disseminate requested data/records requested by the Grant. This includes all departmental records, resource usage, student/faculty/school satisfaction, and any items related to Credit Count goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, Technology, or an education-related field.
3 years experience in formal education.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with others.
Ability to work with a pool of diverse students.
Ability to travel between TCC campuses and TPS high schools.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Science, Mathematics, Technology, or an education-related field.
Ability to adapt to the needs and objectives of an evolving program.
Project management experience.
Ability to speak Spanish.
