Group Home Manager

The House Manager is responsible for assisting the QIDP in client healthcare/nutrition and household management.  Including client finances, recreation, program services, family involvement, education/vocational programs, and staffing. Have complete knowledge of organizational policies and procedures and communicate and enforce them to staff. Must be able to train, coach, assign duties, goals and department expectations and encourage others. Key to this position is time management, exceptional oral, written and organizational skills. House Manager must also provide 16 hrs/week of direct service and have a cell phone.

Education Requirements:     

Preferably a college degree or course work in related field, i.e., Human Services, Psychology, or Social Work.

Experience Required: 

 The right person will have compassion and one-year plus experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities preferred.

Position Reports to:   QIDP

Must be at least 21 years of age and have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license with no suspensions for traffic infractions during the past three years.
