Personal Lines Customer Service Representative
Dynamic Independent Insurance Agency representing many leading insurance carriers has an immediate part-time opening for an experienced Personal Lines customer service representative to join our team.
Candidates are required to have a property and casualty license and knowledge of AMS 360 or similar management database.
As a team member, your responsibilities will involve direct interaction with both existing as well as new clients while working directly with a number of agents in the management of their personal lines accounts.
This position is in the office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with customers. Must be outgoing and have great interpersonal skills.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about coverage, product, pricing and carriers
- Work with internal departments to meet customer's needs
- Provides personal lines insurance coverage counseling and be able to suggest coverage options
- Some Data entry in various platforms
- Attention to detail is needed.
Processing of renewals and endorsements. Require detail-oriented person to review for accuracy.
Will market policies with a significant renewal increase.
Will handle all mortgage requests for Evidence of Insurance. Will need to follow up for closing dates and process changes.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- At least 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
- MUST have P&C insurance license or be willing to obtain within 90 days.
- Excellent phone etiquette along with good verbal, written, and follow up skills are needed.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
- The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Salary is based on experience. But know that can earn extra compensation by owning your own book of business!
