The Communications Assistant within the Office of Advising and Student Information Services supports student communications and outreach for Rowan Global graduate and undergraduate programs. This includes supporting social media, newsletters, websites, texting campaigns, and other outreach initiatives, as well as assisting with event planning and coordination and routine office support. The position will be based primarily at the Mt. Laurel campus; remote/flexible scheduling is possible, although the position may require occasional travel/work on other campuses as needed.

The Communications Assistant within the Office of Advising and Student Information Services supports student communications and outreach for Rowan Global graduate and undergraduate programs. Essential responsibilities include:
- Updating and ensuring the accuracy of the OASIS website.
- Monitor phone and voicemails, assisting as needed and referring students as appropriate.
- Assist students calling, emailing, dropping in (in-person or virtually) with setting up advising appointments.
- Assist with student outreach at key times.
- Review, update, and distribute advising and student services resources as needed.
- Coordinate development of course schedule documents used to guide student registration each semester.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate degree plus 2 years' experience in a communications/digital media position.
- Demonstrated communications, social media, and/or website development experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Customer service experience.
- Excellent computer skills, especially facility with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Cascade, MailChimp.
- Superior organizational and analytical skills; exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative team player with an impeccable work ethic, customer service orientation, and a sense of humor.
- Occasional evenings and weekends as required.
