The Times and Democrat is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Facilities Technician.
This position is responsible for performing daily facility maintenance and custodial duties. Light mechanical skills are required. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, obtain a forklift license, and work closely with other employees and departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive a forklift to load/unload freight and fill out proper paperwork
- Use a clamp forklift to unload newsprint from delivery trucks
- Provide maintenance/custodial coverage for company grounds and interior office and restroom areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic experience in janitorial maintenance procedures
- Ability to follow all safety rules and procedures
- Ability to interact positively with other employees and departments
