East Stroudsburg University is hiring a Title III Project Manager! Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, ESU's proximity to New York City and Philadelphia provides convenient access to internships, careers and social activities. Just minutes from campus are the country's largest water parks, scenic Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area, Appalachian Trail, and other opportunities for recreational fun.

As the Title III Project Manager, you will need to think creatively and be comfortable overseeing the grant personnel activities on a day-to-day basis and completing reporting utilizing MS Office Suite. You will be an active member of the College of Business Management team and will work closely with the Dean to track the budget costs and monitor when adjustments are necessary to stay in compliance with the grant. You will thrive in this role if you like combining your communication skills and ability to follow through on projects while collaborating with the US Department of Education to strengthen the institution's program grant. To be successful in this role, you must be team-minded, analytical, and able to work independently.

This is a temporary grant-funded position. Your normal hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm, but you may have to flex your schedule from time to time based on the needs of the business to be a true Project Manager. When our team shows up for work, they are energized and motivated to succeed - all while being the most crucial piece to keeping the ESU operations humming.
What Will I Do At ESU? (AKA Essential Duties)
  • Oversee grant activities on a day-to-day basis utilizing MS Word and MS Excel for reporting updates.
  • Collaborate with the US Department of Education to provide day-to-day oversight of grant activities to achieve objectives set forth in the grant.
  • Coordinate and generate quarterly, annual, and end-of-project evaluation reports.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives, and evaluate, and predict resources to reach objectives.
  • Manage, and monitor the budget to ensure monies allocated are utilized properly and assess adjustments that need to be implemented to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Prepare a budget based on the scope of the work and resource requirements.
  • Assist the Title III Project Director along with the Department of Education with report writing regarding the progress of the grant.
  • Oversee grant timeline and objectives to remain in compliance with the grant.
  • Collaborate with various departmental, faculty, and staff stakeholders to advise on the progress of the grant goals.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to work on various projects and measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Perform related work as required.
What We're Looking For (AKA Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in business management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in higher education, administration, and/or leadership.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with project management and budgets.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with personnel leadership.
  • A minimum of 3 years of advanced skills in MS Office Suite.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining a budget.
  • Excellent communication skills.
